Lee DeWyze is from Mount Prospect, Illinois, and is the winner of American Idol 2010!

Lee has 2 earlier albums, So I’m Told (2007) and Slumberland (2010).

He auditioned in Chicago at the United Center on June 22, 2009.  Lee never graduated from high school, and worked as a paint salesman from the age of 15.

Lee’s musical influences include Eric Clapton and Cat Stevens.

Lee DeWyze and Andrew Garcia treated fans to an impromptu performance before the show in Toledo on Sunday, August 29th, 2010 at the Huntington Center. Luckily, I was right next to them when they started singing. A fan handed Andrew the guitar for him to play. Very awesome!!

how many auditions do people go through to actually get on american idol, and like, where do they stay?do they pay rent if they stay at some american idol hotel?’bout how much would it cost to do everything to get on american idol?
i have no clue what goes on on it. just wondering.
