    wouldnt it of been awesome if Van Zant rose from the grave and ran on the stage and layed the smack down on his candy ass, then take over the mic and finish the song in excellence….this guy shanked the song in my opinion…to much emphasis

    @metallica520 Adam isn’t as great as everyone makes him out to be…yeah he can get high but it sounds like he is screaming and makes his songs sound bad

    Great song choice and epic performance. I liked Crystal Bowersox’s “Come to My Window” performance as well, but I think this one takes the cake.

  10. OMG, I was this close to doing this song at the Atherton (my high school) idol. lol, I screwed up by choosing sweet home alabama and its 5 note range. lol

    He has an amazing voice, i’m glad he won. He worked hard, and really deserved it. I am tired of people saying “Crystal should’ve won” Because, she will get record deals. So yeah. Lee got what he deserved. He worked hard, and got this far. So, congratulations to him. Good job Lee. :)

  17. @krippy2k the lyrics are beautifull, pure genius. van zant was considered by most of his peers as 1 of the greatest song writers ever. he is in the rock and roll hall of fame, and people wanna compare this guy on some reality show to him. give me a break.

    he sounds like hes basing it off of shinedowns version and not synyrds version… theres a difference between strong and raspy

  23. @ghosthunter177 close lol. i dont think so. van zant wrote all the lyrics to skynyrd songs. freebird, tuesdays gone, simple man, sweet home alabama, and your saying he’s close. ronnie vanzant was a raw genius. this guy is just a singer on american kareoke
